It seems like there may be quite an interesting development in the Texas legislature as they get ready to consider a proposal for open carry of handguns in Texas.

ReplyDeleteTexas has a great castle doctrine and has recently modified the "traveling" laws concerning guns but is still lacking in the open carry department for handguns.

I just want to let everyone know that Jerry at Texas Guns / Texas Thunder Range has done a couple of press interviews that could have been detrimental to the Open Carry movement with regards to public opinion.
ReplyDeleteI used to always defend this guy. I have seen and heard SOOO many negative comments about this man. I was in his concealed carry class when he tried to embarrass me for supporting open carry. I was OK with that, but going to the Press and trying to hijack the movement just so HE can continue to charge $170 for CC classes is too much for me. I will take my business elsewhere.
