    I think preparedness is important because I am the only person responsible for the health and safety of my family.

    Preparedness is real life insurance, the stuff they sell on television is death insurance for your survivors.

    I prepare because I feel it in my bones that SOMETHING ugly is going to happen. I dont know what that ugly is but its rrreeeaaallll scary

    Prepping is important because as the leader of my family, I never want to have to look in my children's eyes and feel that I have failed them.

    It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark...If I do all I can to prepare while I'm able, my life will be a little easier should a time arise when I'm not able to prepare and secure provisions. You can't help someone drowning if you can't keep your own head above the water.
