Looting Social Security

I saw IOUSA - it was very interesting. The fact is, that Social Security wasnt supposed to be forever and it was never supposed to be the entirity of someone's retirement.

I will drain my IRA, pay the taxes and keep my money under my matress before I sign up to let the government manage it for me - I dont care if they call it a nonprofit. I will also not take a dime.

The hubs and I have always figured we would pay into it and not be able to collect a dime - we made peace with it a long time ago - we will provide for ourselves and will teach our kids to do the same.

This system needs to go down - it wont be easy and it wont be pleasant, but it will bring families together, make Americans save more and will be better for us in the long run...
