On Friday, September 11th, 2009, an American Flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Each and every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this eighth anniversary of one of our country's worst tragedies. We do this to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, and friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain and suffering caused by the tragic events of that fateful day and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.
In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in an abundance of American flags as citizens all across our great country mourned the incredible losses suffered on September 11, 2001. Americans everywhere stood shoulder-to-shoulder and arm-in-arm against terrorism. Sadly, many of these flags have all but disappeared now. It is time for them to be proudly displayed once again. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds. Let’s cover America once again in the fabric of our flag.
Tell your family members, your friends and your neighbors to fly an American flag on September 11th.
Let everyone know we will always remember!
Thank you for your participation.
God Bless You and God Bless America!

I loved seeing the patriotism and people coming together....But the question is, why did the flags come down? They should all still be up even today. They're should be as many if not more flags up today than there were on 09/12/01
